Marlys Roberts is Director of Merchandising for Beauty Care and Baby at Meijer. Recognized by Drug Store News as a Top Woman in Health, Wellness & Beauty and by Progressive Grocer with both GenNext and Top Women in Grocery honors, she has built her career around turning customer needs into changes shoppers can see in stores.

Marlys led Meijer’s Beauty Reflow, reshaping the department to make it easier to shop and giving growing categories such as skincare and hair care a stronger presence. She also helped lead Destination Baby, which brings together broader assortments and better use of space to make shopping for a growing family more convenient. Her work includes Meijer’s first-ever car seat recycling program, giving families a practical way to responsibly dispose of used car seats and strollers.

Earlier, as Meijer’s director of Deli and Bakery, Marlys helped launch Crafted Market, a line of ready-to-heat meals designed to give customers a convenient dinner option. She also served on Meijer’s strategy team, contributing to work on merchandising and digital fulfillment across the business. Across these roles, she has relied on thorough preparation to understand the opportunity, a clear point of view in the room, and consistent follow-through to turn decisions into results.
