Monique Hutcherson Benoit is a bold leader in the consumer products space, and a champion for inclusivity. She brings a high level of energy and passion to her work. Monique began her career in technical sales, as a newly minted chemical engineering graduate from the University of Michigan. An avid consumer, Monique always had a passion for retail. She leveraged her Carnegie Mellon MBA to transition into the retail sector.
Post-MBA, Monique joined Target as a Senior Buyer focused on Women’s Health in the OTC Healthcare category. Her claim to fame at Target was partnering with then-budding and minority owned brands, This is L and Honey Pot Company. She boldly supported these brands to success at Target, providing a spring board to growth in the broader retail market. She left Target to be a Senior Buyer at Anthropologie responsible for categories in the gift and entertaining department. Monique currently is the Team Lead for the Beauty Channel & Multicultural at The Emerson Group. She is a proud mom to four daughters ages 11, 7, 5 and 3.
